Split This Rock Poetry Festival seeks proposals for panels, workshops, and group readings for the upcoming festival to be held in DC, March 22-25, 2012. Special interest in poetry in response to popular uprisings in countries throughout the world, and proposals that celebrate the legacy of June Jordan. Also interested in poetry in response to political repression, environmental degradation, and the relationship of poets to power.
