Submissions for our second volume will end around September 15th. Preference will be given to (cozy) horror, suspense, and/or mystery stories (though all genres are welcome) for Volume 2—expected October 31!
Genre may vary: romance, mystery, horror/suspense, etc. However, we are currently only accepting works of fiction.
We will consider prose of length 1,500–15,000 words. We’re mostly looking for unpublished or emerging authors of various backgrounds!

with [prose] or [poetry], your name, and the title of your submission in the subject line! For the poetry title, include only the title of the first work.
Please include a cover letter! Tell us about yourself and what your piece means to you in about 200 words. If selected, be prepared to also write an “about the author” segment.
Please, only send one submission at a time until you hear back from us! If you are submitting any works to multiple publications, please let us know. If any are accepted before we get back with you, please email submissions again with [withdrawal] and your name and the title of the submission in the email subject line.
We will consider reprints for online publication on our website, assuming that there are no continued exclusive rights for the piece. However, we consider only unpublished works for our print publication.
We ask for exclusive rights to online and print forms of your story for three months following publication.
We will offer $25 for short stories and $10 for poetry. Selected authors will receive print editions of the magazine issue in which they appear.
We encourage works from people of all backgrounds.
We will not accept works prejudiced against race, gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
