A short essay challenge based on the premise of my project, 100 ROOMS AT THE MET.
Choose a room, any room, anywhere (maybe even a museum gallery near you), stay for an hour and then write a short essay on what you encountered – inside and out.
Essays are chosen biweekly and posted to oneroomonehour.substack.com

The Rules
One room, any room, but it must have walls.
Exactly one hour, no cheating.
No talking. Speak only if spoken to.
Write from what you know, no research.
Not more than 1,000 words.

All entries will be acknowledged as received. Please submit only once until notified whether or not your essay has been chosen.
All entries are due by 5 p.m. EST on Fridays.
