Call for Submissions on Theme of Awakening: Verum Literary Press

Verum is currently open for submissions for its online magazine. The theme is awakening; bright discoveries and wretched journeys, however they may look.

The submission deadline is August 6, 2022.

Guidelines:

The work cannot be previously published, unless it was published on a personal blog or social media.

Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please let us know if it has been accepted elsewhere.

Any submissions that contain bigotry will immediately be declined.

Please include a brief (100 words or less) third person author bio about yourself with your pronouns.

For poetry-

Please start each poem on a new page

Send up to 4 poems for each submission opportunity.

For visual art/photography-

Explicit photos are not welcome and will not be accepted

For short stories-

Please do not exceed 5,000 words.
