Please join me for my next webinar, "The 5 Elements of Plot," hosted by the Author Learning Center, on September 10, 2019, 11:30 a.m.--12:30 p.m., MDT. The session will be repeated on Oct. 9, 2019, 11:30 a.m.--12:30 p.m. MDT.
Description: In fiction, plot is defined as the series of events (action) that make up a story. Most plots follow a structure known as Freytag’s triangle, which has five basic elements: 1) Exposition/Introduction; 2) Inciting Incident; 3) Rising Action; 4) Climax; and 5) Denouement/Conclusion.
In this webinar with award-winning author Jeanne Lyet Gassman, we will look at each one of these five plot elements in more detail with specific examples of each. In addition, we will explore basic outlining techniques that will help you develop a plot and narrative for your novel or story that will keep the reader turning the pages.
Date(s): September 10, 2019 and October 9, 2019
