The Missouri Review is excited to announce that our
2013 Audio Competition is underway! As of last year, we
accept entries by email or regular post. Prizes will be
awarded for high-quality recordings of poets and writers
reading their work and for audio documentaries on any
subject.
Winners in each of three categories receive $1,000.
Winning entries and runners-up will be featured on our
website and on our iTunes feed and made available to our
subscribers. All entrants receive a one-year,
digital subscription to The Missouri Review.
We are also excited to once again offer
pay-by-donation entry fees! Now you decide what you will pay
to enter the competition. (Previously, entry to the
Audio Contest cost $20). All contributions go directly
towards supporting the continued production of The
Missouri Review, its awards, and related programs.
Deadline: March 15th, 2012
Mailed entries must include a CD, entry form, entry fee, and
author bio. Emailed entries should include an MP3 file of
the entry, an entry form, online payment (through
TMR’s website), and an author bio. For full details
and to download an entry form, please see our website.
We hope to have the chance to listen to your work!
Best regards,
Claire McQuerry and Mike Petrik
