The Writer 2012 Travel Essay Contest

Did you learn something surprising about another culture or meet a
memorable character or see something that left an indelible impression?
The Writer magazine invites you to submit a previously unpublished
travel essay of up to 1,200 words. Write about your unforgettable travel
experiences, whether your travels took you to an exotic destination or a
hometown treasure.
Prizes: $1,000/$300/$200; Gotham Writers' Workshop
online classes; and publication in The Writer for the winner.
