Call for submissions: Williams Anthology

Seeking original poems for the anthology, *Visiting Dr. Williams: Poems Inspired by the Life and Work of William Carlos Williams* (forthcoming, University of Iowa Press, 2010). Foreign poems in translation welcome.

See previous anthologies: *Visiting Emily* (2000), *Visiting Walt* (2003) and *Visiting Frost* (2005), all from the Univ. of Iowa Press, for an idea of the kind of poems we are seeking—poems of homage, poems that parody, that argue with, that disagree with, that are in conversation with, that respond to, that are triggered by the life and work of William Carlos Williams.

Author must be able to grant permission to publish poem—or to obtain permission to publish if right to publish is held by another. Please provide proper credit acknowledgment for previously published poems.

Deadline: September 15, 2009.
