Call for Submissions: Cabbage Patch Magazine

Cabbage Patch Magazine

What we're looking for

Poetry, essays, fiction, fragments, strange hybrid things, photos, images — no word count (although no War and Peace manuscripts please), reprints welcome.

What makes us say yes

we don't mind if it's not perfect, we love it if it's from first time writers, we love it if it's "not the right format" for grown up lit mags. We probably mind if it's politically charged, excessively sexual or violent, we are petrified of life as it is.

Bottom line: it should not feel like gutted fish.

The practical stuff

✦Submission is free, always.

✦We accept submissions from writers aged 20 and over only.

We are volunteer-run and unfortunately cannot pay contributors at this time.

✦Reprints are welcome — just let us know where the work appeared before. We only accept reprints where authors preserve full rights over their piece.

✦No simultaneous submission limits. We trust you.

✦Please see our manuscript format guidelines before submitting.
