We accept poetry, prose, spoken word, and visual art works. We will offer $25 per published piece of work for this first volume.

Submissions for our inaugural issue are open through December 1, 2023 (11:59 pm PST). Big Wing Review will notify applicants on a rolling basis through December 10.
Language / Format Requirements: All submissions must be in English and must be previously unpublished. A written transcript must accompany spoken word recordings. Translations are welcome and should be accompanied by a copy of the original.
Simultaneous Submissions: Simultaneous submissions are allowed, as long as we are notified if the piece is accepted for publication elsewhere.
Submission Limits: Please submit no more than six poems, one piece of prose (less than 1,000 words preferred), one spoken word piece, or two photographs at a time.
Revisions: Please do not send revisions. We will publish all content as received, so please review copy carefully prior to submission.
Withdrawing Submissions: If you wish to withdraw a single piece or your entire submission, please write to submissions@bigwingreview.com with the subject “Withdraw” and include your name and piece title.
Copyright: Big Wing Review holds first serial rights for material that we publish (see here for info on what this means). The copyright automatically reverts to the author upon publication. All work may be permanently archived online. We ask that Big Wing Review be acknowledged in any subsequent publication of the work.
