Front Porch Journal, the online literary journal of Texas State University’s MFA program, is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
We’re searching for your best works: stories, essays, poems, flash, artwork, and graphic narratives.
Published three times a year, each issue of Front Porch highlights the work of both emerging and established writers, alongside book reviews and interviews with authors such as recent National Book Award winners Adam Johnson and Terrance Hayes. We also feature videos from Texas State’s visiting writers series, including authors such as Jennifer Egan, Amy Hempel, Phillip Lopate, Natalie Diaz, Daniel Orozco, Margaret Atwood, Allen Ginsberg, and many more.
We accept submissions on a rolling basis and strive to keep response times short. Please spread the word to your colleagues, cohorts, and students, and send us your work!
